Field manual · rev. 1

Stay
alive.

No safe spawn, no starter base. You walk out of the water and the clock starts. This is how a life goes on DayZ Revival, from the first minute on the coast to your own walls.

A life in five days

Day 1 · 06:12 · The coast

Wash ashore

You come out of the sea somewhere along the edge of the map. In your pockets: two bandages, painkillers, morphine, a map, a GPS, a Glock with one magazine, night vision, a can of beans and a bottle of water. That has to last until you find more.

  • Glock 17
  • Map + GPS
  • NV goggles
  • Beans
  • Water
  • Bandage ×2
  • Morphine
  • Painkillers

Day 1 · 11:40 · Town

Scavenge

Loot is tripled, so every house is worth a look. Supermarkets have food, police stations have sidearms, hospitals have medicine. The military bases have the best gear, and the most zombies guarding it. Drink before you're thirsty, and eat before your vision starts to go.

Day 2 · 19:05 · Somewhere bad

Bleed

Zombies and players both hit hard. Bandages stop the bleeding, morphine fixes a broken leg, painkillers stop the shaking and blood bags bring you back up. Get cold and wet at night and your temperature drops, so find a fire or warm clothes.

Day 3 · 09:30 · Market, Los Santos

Trade

Make it to the safe zone in Market and you can breathe. Sell your loot to the traders, buy what you need, and put your Revival Cash in the ATM before you head out again.

Day 6 · 22:48 · Your hill

Build

Pitch tents and hide safes in the woods, or rent one of the bases on the map with a gate, parking for your vehicles and helipads on the bigger ones. Your gear stays there between lives, as long as nobody breaks in while you're away.

The black
market

It's expensive and stock is limited, but it pays well for loot and it's the only place that sells rare gear. Keep an eye on who follows you there.

When
you die

Your body stays. Everything you carried stays on it for whoever finds it first, including the cash in your pockets.

You start again on the coast. Same starting kit. Premium survivors respawn in 10 seconds with a better set.

Your base keeps your gear. Tents, safes and rented bases don't care that you died.
